Low Vision Rehabilitation

Low-vision rehabilitation FOR COLORADO

Help patients do more with the vision they have.

Ensight partners with ophthalmologists and eye-care teams to help people keep reading, moving, working, and living independently—even when medical treatment cannot restore lost vision.

Ensight complements ongoing medical eye care and communicates recommendations back to the referring practice.

When to refer

Listen for what vision loss is taking away.

A patient does not need to meet a single acuity threshold. Refer when vision is interfering with a meaningful daily activity and ordinary correction or treatment has not solved it.

A simple technician prompt

“What is one thing your vision is making harder to do?”

Whole-person care

Practical skills, useful tools, renewed confidence.

Ensight begins with the patient’s goals, then builds a personalized plan around the tasks that matter most.

Low-vision assessment

A low-vision trained optometrist and occupational therapist identify useful remaining vision and practical goals.

Occupational therapy

Individual training builds safer, more confident routines for reading, self-care, home tasks, and daily life.

Assistive technology

Patients try magnification, lighting, contrast, and accessible technology—with training to use what fits.

Mobility and support

Orientation and mobility instruction, education, peer support, and resources help patients stay connected.
